How do I store Wegovy?

Wegovy should be stored in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Once in use, it can be stored at room temperature up to 30°C for up to 28 days. Always follow the storage instructions included with your medication.

When to seek urgent help

Stop taking the medicine and call 999 or go to A&E if you get:

Severe, persistent pain in your stomach area that may spread to your back, with or without being sick: this could be inflamed pancreas (acute pancreatitis).
Signs of a severe allergic reaction: breathing problems, wheezing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, difficulty swallowing, a fast heartbeat, or feeling faint.

Contact your doctor urgently, or call NHS 111, if you notice:

Sudden loss of vision or rapidly worsening eyesight.
Severe constipation with stomach pain, bloating or vomiting (possible bowel obstruction).
Pain in the upper right of your stomach, fever or yellowing of the skin or eyes (possible gallbladder problems).
Being sick or having diarrhoea that stops you keeping fluids down (risk of dehydration and kidney problems).
